Armenian FM, Austrian envoy discuss cooperationAugust 27, 2012 - 21:20 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 27, newly appointed ambassador of Austria to Armenia Alois Kraut (residence in Vienna) presented copies of credentials to Armenian Foreign Minster Edward Nalbandian. Congratulating the guest on the appointment, Minister Nalbandian voiced hope that Ambassador Kraut will contribute to deepening of Armenian-Austrian relations. Minister Nalbandian noted that Austrian President Heinz Fischer’s June visit to Armenia and the agreements reached between the two countries’ leaders give new impetus to strengthening of bilateral ties. It was further stressed during the meeting that Armenia was included in the list of top countries Austria must cooperate with, with a number of programs to be implemented in the near future. Cooperation in the fields of science, education and culture, EU-Armenia relations, regional and international issues were on meeting agenda, RA MFA press service reported.
