OVER 270 LEADERS OF US ARMENIAN COMMUNITY TOOK PART IN EVENT ON ARMENIAN GENOCIDE 90TH ANNIVERSARYFebruary 26, 2005 - 19:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Over 270 leaders of the US Armenian community took part in an event on the occasion of the 90-th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide held in Los Angeles February 24. The event participants appreciated the countries, which had assisted the survivors of the Genocide, as well as the states, which had officially recognized the Genocide. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger had sent a letter to the participants of the measure. He specifically welcomed the efforts of the organizers, who wished to thank the people, organizations and countries, which were not indifferent to others' grief and provided assistance and asylum.
