Fund for Armenian Relief to continue activity in homeland

PanARMENIAN.Net - Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II met Sept 24 with the members of Fund for Armenian Relief, headed by Primate of Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America Archbishop Khazhak Barsamian.

Archbishop Barsamian briefed Catholicos Karekin II on the fund’s programs, noting that the organization representatives have resolved on Sept 22 to continue active implementation of programs in homeland, focusing on educational, social and economic programs.

Catholicos Karekin II highly assessed the fund’s activities in Armenia, noting it as one of the first organizations to have contributed to Armenia’s development and prosperity.

He further called on the members of Fund for Armenian Relief to further contribute to progress of Armenian Church, expressing gratitude to Archbishop Barsamian for effective organization of religious life.
