Prosecutor General rep. says no info on stripping Oskanian of immunity

PanARMENIAN.Net - The spokesperson of the Prosecutor General Sona Turuzyan said she has no information whether the Prosecutor applied for stripping the former foreign minister Vartan Oskanian of his congressional immunity, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

According to recent media reports, a possibility of depriving Oskanian of deputy immunity to persecute him in money laundering case was to be discussed at the 4-day parliamentary sittings.

However, as the daily reported, the National Security Service froze Oskanian’s case, with Oskanian himself claiming unawareness of its developments.
