VLADIMIR PUTIN AND ROBERT KOCHARIAN EXCHANGED MESSAGES ON OCCASION OF YEAR OF RUSSIA IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian leader Robert Kocharian exchanged messages on occasion of the opening of the Year of Russia in Armenia. "Russia highlights the consistent strengthening of friendly ties with Armenia - a reliable ally and strategic partner. I am convinced that the conduction of the Year of Russia in Armenia will contribute to the further closing of the two states, development of friendship and immediate dialogue between our peoples", the Russia's President noted in his statement. The message of the Armenian President says, "The decision to declare year 2005 the year of Russia offers great possibilities for the further consolidation of the Armenian-Russian ties. This initiative will contribute to complete realization of political, economic and cultural potential of cooperation between our sister nations."
