U.S. tourist opens fire at Israeli resort hotel, kills 1

PanARMENIAN.Net - Israeli police say that an American tourist has opened fire at a hotel in the resort city of Eilat, killing at least one person, Sky News reported.

Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the tourist fired a number of shots on Friday, Oct 5 morning at the Leonardo Club hotel in the Red Sea resort city.

The suspect is still inside the hotel and a large number of police units are at the scene, he added.

The identity of the suspect and the motive behind the attack are unknown.
