Gyumri mayor resigns post earlier, than planned

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian government approved a decision October 10 about suspension of Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan’s authorities earlier than planned.

The decision was conditioned by Vardan Ghukasyan’s statement on resignation. As Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration Vache Terteryan noted at a government meeting, the newly-elected Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan must assume the post within a day.
