Armenian ex-minister of urban development summoned to police![]() October 15, 2012 - 22:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Former Minister of Urban Development Vardan Vardanyan has been summoned to police as a witness in the criminal case launched by General Investigation Division of the RA Police. RA police press service representative confirmed the information in conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. Ex-minister Vardanyan was interrogated over the criminal case instigated for the fund misuse during repairs of the National Library of Armenia building. A criminal case for embezzlement of property and abuse of official position during RA National Library repairs was launched September 25. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
