RPA rep. says wouldn’t like Oskanian to be found guilty

PanARMENIAN.Net - The U.S. ambassador’s statement on former foreign minister, Prosperous Armenia party member Vartan Oskanian’s case cast further doubts on the issue, head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group said.

“I don’t doubt anyone. Oskanian will be found not guilty, if he succeeds in proving his innocence. The case must be considered in legal framework,” Galust Sahakyan said, adding that he wouldn’t like the ex-minister to be found guilty.

Asked if he shares the standpoint deeming Oskanian the West’s presidential candidate for the upcoming race, the MP voiced skepticism over the issue.
