3 Turkish ops reported killed in PKK clashesOctober 20, 2012 - 12:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Three members of a Turkish special ops unit were killed in clashes with the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the southeastern province of Hakkari late on Friday, Oct 19, Today's Zaman reported. A statement from the Hakkari Governor’s Office said a special ops unit launched an operation in the village of Kırıkdağ in pursuit of the rebels upon a tip-off. The PKK group set an ambush for the unit and the ops were killed in the fighting.
