Paper: presidential administration provides $9600 to suicidal ex-policeman

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Aravot daily, former police officer Mkhitar Alumyan who attempted self-immolation to be paid AMD 4 million he was entitled to for overtime work has never got remunerated.

According to the paper, police provided Alumyan with $5000; however, the ex-officer aims to take the matter to court to demand a compensation for payment delay and moral damages, which brings the sum to a total of AMD 9 million.

According to the paper, Alumyan’s main motive was the issue of providing for his underage children and a surgery for his disabled daughter.

As the paper said, presidential administration provided Alumyan with $9600 for his daughter’s surgery and family’s sustenance.
