SCR urges Armenian citizens to follow traffic safety standardsOctober 23, 2012 - 16:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 22, on 165 km of Armenia’s Vardenis-Shorzha rail track freight cars collided with cattle. As a result of the collision, four cars of a freight train derailed. South Caucasus Railway (SCR) CJSC once again urges citizens to follow safety standards and not to use the roads for grazing and transhumance. For its part, SCR takes all necessary measures to ensure traffic safety, including implementation of a program of repair of railway crossings, regularly carried out to detect the shortcomings on crossings, as well as conduction of technical inspections to ensure road safety, SCR press service reported.
