KOCHARIAN CONGRATULATED NEW POPE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian sent a congratulation letter to German Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger due to the latter being elected head of the Roman Catholic Church, the Armenian leader's Press Service reported. In his message to Pope Benedict XVI, the Armenian President specifically writes, «I am sure that all your actions pleasing the God will be crowned with success and the Roman Catholic Church will continue its valuable contribution to the strengthening of religious tolerance and peace throughout the globe for protection of human rights and establishment of justice. I am convinced that under your rule the already established warm and friendly relations between Armenia and the Vatican will strengthen even more.»
