Direct Rome -Yerevan flights to operate twice a week

PanARMENIAN.Net - Alitalia Group officially announced direct Rome - Yerevan flights to start on December 11, 2012 at Zvartnots International Airport.

The flights will be operating twice a week (from Rome on Tuesday and Friday, and from Yerevan on Wednesday and Saturday), with Festa Tour Avia to act as the exclusive sale manager in Yerevan.

Alitalia’s flight project will contribute to the development of economic relations between the two countries, as well as unveil other international and intercontinental destinations. Alitalia has expanded its network from Rome - Fiumicino including new domestic destinations (in Italy), as well as overseas with significant routes to all European Countries, North and South America and Mediterranean area.

The renewal of Alitalia’s fleet has ensured the expansion of finest services, particularly for long-range and intercontinental flights. The meals served aboard are prepared with DOP (Protected Origin) and IGP certified products, representing the excellence of Italy’s culinary traditions.
