Converse Bank may have 90 000 cardholders by yearend

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of Converse Bank CJSC cardholders has increased by 70% as compared with the beginning of the year, the bank’s executive director said.

As Tigran Davtyan told a press conference, the number of the active card holders is expected to reach 90 000 by the end of the year, considering 2012 results.

On Nov 9, Converse Bank CJSC launched a new “Converse Goal” action for Visa card holders, who will score “goals” for each AMD 1000 on their account. The clients to have scored the largest number of “goals” will win a trip to Madrid and granted an opportunity to watch Real Madrid vs Barcelona football match due March 3, 2013.

Meanwhile, the number of the Converse Bank POS terminals has increased by about 30% as compared with the beginning of the year, with over 40 % growth expected by yearend. Card transactions volume currently totals AMD 1 bln against AMD 670 mln recorded at the beginning of the year.
