Tsarukyan’s candidacy will benefit both Armenia’s current president Serzh Sargsyan and his predecessor Robert Kocharian. Sargsyan seeks a victory against a strong rival, while Kocharian hopes only Tsarukyan can defeat the current president. As for the Prosperous Armenia head, he has no intention to enter the race,” the paper says.
