UAE embassy to be established in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan as part of his visit to Abu Dhabi.

The two men highly assessed bilateral relations, agreeing to take measures on development of political cooperation, expansion of the legal framework, deepening of economic and cultural ties.

They both stressed the need to establish UAE embassy in Yerevan.

The two ministers further discussed the current tensions in the Gaza Strip and the situation in Syria, with Mr. Nalbandian briefing his counterpart on Armenia’s and international community’s efforts towards resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Upon completion of the meeting, they signed an inter-governmental agreement on air communication, RA MFA press service reported.
