Egypt President Mursi fires chief prosecutor November 22, 2012 - 20:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President Mohammed Mursi of Egypt has sacked his chief prosecutor, Abdel Maguid Mahmoud, BBC News reported. He has also ordered the re-trial of officers accused of attacking protesters under Hosni Mubarak. Mr Mahmoud's decision to acquit the officers led to violent clashes in the capital Cairo last month.
