Heritage: RPA’s non-attendance at NA special meeting boycott

PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage party board deputy-chairman Armen Martirosyan has characterized the non-attendance of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia members at special parliamentary meeting as boycott.

“It comprises no anti-constitutional elements,” he said, deeming more correct for RPA to participate in the discussion and boycott the voting, instead.

“This way RPA proved its unreadiness to heed and address the existing problems,” Martirosyan said.

A special parliamentary sitting, initiated by Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc, fell through Nov 21 over non-attendance of RPA members, with the exception of National Assembly speaker Eduard Sharmazanov and Hermine Naghdalyan.
