Chrysler sales grow 14 percent in November

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chrysler says its U.S. sales rose 14 percent last month — its best November since 2007, AP reported.

The company's results show that Americans continue to buy new cars and trucks at a brisk pace. Chrysler predicts an annual sales rate of 15.3 million for the industry in November, making it the strongest month of the year. Auto sales ran at an annual rate of about 14.3 million through October.

Chrysler says its sales were led by the Dodge brand with sales up 32 percent over November of last year. Dodge Journey crossover SUV sales rose 77 percent.

Chrysler was the first automaker to report sales Monday, December 3. The company says it sold 123,000 vehicles.
