Gabala pullout won’t affect Russia’s missile defense sector – expert

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia’s pull out from Gabala radar station is an important indicator of the Moscow-Baku political relations, an expert said.

“It’s no secret that Russia’s lease of the Azeri station had no so much military and technical as political motivation,” Andrey Areshev told PanARMENIAN.Net

“However, Russia’s pullout won’t have negative effects on the country’s capacity in missile defense sector, rather, triggering a further cooling in relations with Azerbaijan,” the expert concluded.
