Armenian President: we’ll further contribute to NKR development

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno Karabakh problem must be solved exclusively through peaceful means, through negotiations, leader of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and President said.

“At the same time, we are ready for a staunch putdown of any reckless scheme or encroachment, which may endanger our security. Considering Azerbaijan’s destructive policy, persistent propagation of hatred for Armenians, daily threats to use force, we will continue to enhance security guarantees for Nagorno Karabakh and its population,” Serzh Sargsyan said at RPA 14th congress.

“We will carry on with the process of negotiations. Expressing our gratitude to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair states for their efforts towards the peaceful resolution of the conflict, we will at the same time continue to draw the attention of mediators and the international community to opportunities for the establishment and strengthening of confidence building measures. We will make joint efforts to further contribute to the establishment and development of free, independent and democratic Artsakh,” President Sargsyan said.
