Healthcare Ministry readying to launch health insurance system in 2014![]() December 26, 2012 - 15:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Healthcare Ministry has launched preparatory work for implementation of obligatory health insurance system in Armenia starting 2014. As Healthcare Minister Derenik Dumanyan told a December 26 news conference in Yerevan, 32,4% growth was posted in paid medical services to total AMD 22,7 billion. As he noted, the highest income was reported in repayment of medical services as part of social package for civil servants. “The income totaled AMD 2,5 billion for January-November 2012, growing by AMD 1,8 billion against 2011 results,” Dumanyan said. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners.
