Govt. to compensate AMD 126 mln in gas tariffs for vulnerable familiesDecember 27, 2012 - 16:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Government of Armenia passed a resolution on Thursday, December 27 to transfer AMD 126 million to ArmRosGazprom CJSC to cover vulnerable families’ gas expenditures for July-September 2012. Starting April 1, 2011, vulnerable families were charged a reduced tariff of AMD 100 per cubic meter of gas (consumer price was set at AMD 132 per cubic meter.) Earlier, the government resolved to extend the term of reduced tariffs for vulnerable families till March 31, 2013.
