Paper: “Eurasian” whims tantamount to fall of Armenian statehood

PanARMENIAN.Net - Political expert Ruben Mehrabyan commented on the potential of Prosperous Armenia, Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc and ARF Dashnaktsutyun to unite against incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan following the presidential elections, Aravot daily reports.

“Though they may possess the potential to form an alliance, it will yield no progress. The alliance won’t be able to overthrow the authorities; however it can weaken the post-February regime. Hopefully, the authorities will assess the balance of power and will take relevant steps to hamper external forces’ efforts to dictate their “Eurasian” whims, that are tantamount to the fall of Armenian statehood,” the paper says.
