Paper says Ethics Committee likely to hold special meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Assembly’s Ad-hoc Committee on Ethics will hold its first meeting of 2013 on Jan 17, according to Haykakan Zhamanak daily.

In conversation with the paper’s reporter, the committee chairman Nikol Pashinyan said there is a slim chance of a special sitting.

Center for Strategic Research NGO’s address over Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group member Mikayel Melkumyan’s violation of parliamentary ethics, ARF Dashnaktsutyun member Armen Rustamyan’s address on 83 MPs and Transparency International’s application about the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) representative Mher Sedrakyan will be on the meeting’s agenda, the paper says.
