Presidential hopeful explains decision to withdraw candidacy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Presidential hopeful Robert Aharonyan cited inability to struggle against the financial resources of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) behind his decision to withdraw candidacy.

In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, he said the decision was unlinked to the nomination deposit.

“I deem it senseless to wage an election race against RPA,” Aharonyan said, adding that the capitalist candidate will secure a sweeping victory in the upcoming race.
