Sociologist: foreign media concerned about situation in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of “Sociometer” sociological center Aharon Adibekyan summarized the results of the survey on public expectations from the president.

The sociologist called attention to the fact that the election program points are of no interest to the respondents, particularly the one related to the struggle against shadow economy.

Dwelling on the presidential candidates’ standpoint on the polls, the sociologist said most of them regularly get annoyed by the survey results.

“I have repeatedly said that second phase of elections will be possible only if the opposition forces unite. I get calls from BBC, French Monde and other foreign media, with concerns about the current situation in Armenia expressed,” the sociologist said.
