2026 cases of violence against women reported in Armenia in 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of domestic violence cases has grown in Armenia, deputy head of the criminal investigation department said.

As Nelly Duryan noted, 766 cases of domestic violence were reported in 2012, 621 of them subjected to females, with 145 of them to males.

15 cases were reported against teenagers.

She further noted that public confidence in police grew, with the number of families with similar problems currently totaling 400.

It’s noteworthy that 2026 cases of violence against women were reported in Armenia in 2012.
