Wings of Tatev aerial tramway back to daily service![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Technical maintenance works have been completed at Wings of Tatev, with the world’s longest aerial tramway ready for service. Starting March 12, Wings of Tatev will be operating daily from 10 am to 6 pm (except Mondays.) The aerial tramway spans 5,7 km; its highest point is 330 meters. The tramway takes 11 min to travel from the village Halidzor to the famous medieval Tatev monastery. Wings of Tatev were granted the Guinness book of Records certificate for the longest reversible aerial tramway. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
