Survey says there are 20 millionaire MPs in ArmeniaMarch 12, 2013 - 16:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to asset declarations, there are 20 millionaire MPs in Armenia, with 4 representatives of Prosperous Armenia party Gagik Tsarukyan, Vahan Karapetyan, Gurgen Arsenyan, Grigori Margaryan and member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Samvel Aleksanyan included in the top five list. Together they reported income of USD 1 mln. The survey was conducted by Mandat information agency in the framework of “Monitoring of legislative activity of National Assembly” program, with the results available on Parliamentmonitoring.am website. According to the survey, Prosperous Armenia is the wealthiest parliamentary group, with 36 representatives having registered $98,1 mln together. It is followed by the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), with Heritage party bottoming the list. The results are based on MPs’ Income and Asset Declarations.
