Armen Rustamyan to top ARFD list for City Council election

PanARMENIAN.Net - ARF Dashnaktsutyun will nominate own candidates at Yerevan City Council election, with ARFD supreme body representative Armen Rustamyan to top the list.

As ARFD supreme body representative Arsen Hambartsumyan told PanARMENIAN.Net the finalized list will be submitted to the Central Election Commission on March 21.

The government of Armenia scheduled the Yerevan City Council election for May 5. The resolution was taken at a Thursday, February 14 meeting based on completion of the Council’s term of office.

The law on municipal government stipulates for a 65-member Council elected for a 4-year term.
