Fourth Shift of Armenian Peacekeepers to Leave for Kosovo October 19

PanARMENIAN.Net - The fourth shift of Armenian peacekeepers will leave for Kosovo October 19. As stated by commander of the peacekeeping battalion of the Armed Forces of Armenia Artak Tonoyan, 34 servicemen will leave for Kosovo. In his words, this shift is different from others, as the Armenian battalion will include skilled servicemen, who have already been to Kosovo once. The zone, where the Armenian peacekeepers are deployed, is under US responsibility. «Road blocks and special destination objects are mainly protected,» Tonoyan said, reported RFE/RL.
