Armenia to join Earth Hour global campaign

PanARMENIAN.Net - For the fifth consecutive time, Armenia will join Earth Hour global campaign on March 23.

The electricity in municipal buildings, street and statue lighting will be switched off in Armenia’s capital of Yerevan.

The campaign aims to encourage the public, business circles and government to turn off electric devices for an hour for the sake of the maintenance of our planet’s resources. Over 150 countries of the world will participate in the campaign in 2013. The action will kick off 8:30 pm, Yerevan time.
