European Armenian Youth Forum Opened in Marseilles

PanARMENIAN.Net - European Armenian Youth Forum opened in Marseilles October 29. The event is organized within the framework of the 60th anniversary of the Armenian Youth of France (JAF) organization, reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. Delegations from 12 European countries, Argentine, Uruguay, Turkey, Russia, who were invited as guests, young people from Armenia took part in the forum. Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian have sent congratulation messages to forum participants. Bouche du Rhone Supreme Council Chairman, Senator Jean Noel Guerini, MPs, senators, city mayors, leaders of Armenian Apostolic Church German and British Dioceses, many Armenian Diaspora representatives were present at the event. Armenian Ambassador to France Edvard Nalbandyan made a welcoming speech at the official opening ceremony. He urged young people to be exemplary citizens of their countries and keep in touch with the Fatherland uniting around the Armenian statehood.
