Expert says Raffi Hovannisian’s one-day visit to Moscow absurd

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian political analyst Yervand Bozoyan has described Heritage party leader, former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian’s 14-hour visit to Moscow as a mere comedy.

“It’s absurd to depart for Moscow on a one-day visit, meet some unknown people and announce a plan to unveil the visit agenda later,” the expert told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

It’s noteworthy that Hovannisian said he was invited to Moscow to heed the public opinion, resolving against divulging the details. The ex-candidate said he met some Russian officials, with no meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the agenda.
