Armenia-Korea product turnover totals $50mln in 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - An international conference titled Perspectives of Armenian-Korean Economic Cooperation kicked off in Yerevan Monday, April 15.

The conference explores the possibilities of expanding Armenian-Korean economic ties, with the sectors of pharmaceutics, light industry and information technologies noted among the most promising ones.

Representatives of Armenian Economy Ministry, Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia, Yerevan State University professors, Korean experts delivered reports at the event.

The 2012 Armenia-Korea product turnover totaled $50 million, with stones, polyacetate exported to Korea and vehicles imported to Armenia.
