“Step Forward” project fosters Armenia’s European integration![]() April 16, 2013 - 19:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - “Step Forward” international project, organized by Federation of Youth Clubs and financed by European Union, is already in its final stage of implementation. The project brought together 30 youth leaders from 9 countries. The seminar aimed to foster youth networking and form basis for long-lasting cooperation among partner countries and youth organizations. “Now participants are working on their new ideas and plans, with the invited experts providing them with all the necessary skills,” project coordinator Mariam Sahakyan said. “The project “Step Forward” brought Armenia one step closer to Europe,” said Atom Mkhitaryan, the president of the Youth Clubs of Armenia . Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia (FYCA) unites over 90 youth clubs, centers and organizations from all provinces, from Artsakh and Javakhk, thus becoming the biggest youth organization in Armenia. FYCA is also actively involved in international youth movement and is a member of several European youth organizations, FYCA press service reported. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
