WB May Engage in Karabakh Issue «in Light of Social and Economic Development»

PanARMENIAN.Net - World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz believes the WB can try engaging in settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict only «in the light of social and economic development.» The WB experience in the Balkans proves an approach like that may do good not only due to the parties to conflict do not deny it, P. Wolfowitz stated when addressing the National Press Club in Washington, reported Mediamax. Itar-Tass agency mentions that «questions asked those present touched upon the WB possible role in lifting the economic blockage against Armenia and settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and were unexpected ones for Paul Wolfowitz.»
