CEC calculates winning parties’ seats in Yerevan city councilMay 6, 2013 - 21:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According the preliminary information of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia, the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will receive 41 seats out of 65 in Yerevan city council. Prosperous Armenia will get 17 seats, with Hello Yerevan bloc of parties to receive 7 seats. According to the election results, RPA garnered 235 512 votes (55.89%), Prosperous Armenia - 97 189 votes or 23,07%, Hello Yerevan bloc – 35 732 votes (8.48%). Mission party (2692 votes or 0.64%), Armenian National Congress party (18 499 votes or 4.39%), ARF Dashnaktsutyun(15 999 votes or 3.80%), Orinats Yerkir (15 733 votes (3.73 %) dropped out of the race. 437 021 Yerevan residents (53.53%) cast ballots, with 816 475 entitled to vote.
