As Lukashenko noted at a joint news conference with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan, “we hope for Armenian experts to share knowledge with their Belarusian colleagues at the initial stages of the NPP operation.” On Monday, May 13, the countries’ governments signed a number of agreements covering exchange of information in the sectors of nuclear safety and radiation protection. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
