Armenia, Estonia to deepen defense cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian ambassador to Estonia Ara Ayvazian met on May 22 with Estonia’s defense minister Urmas Reinsalu.

According to RA foreign ministry’s press service, the two hailed the deepening of bilateral interstate relations, stressing the importance of joint efforts in the development of the defense sector. Minister Reinsalu and ambassador Ayvazian reached an agreement to specify the future steps in defense and security sectors.

Regional and international security issues were further discussed, with the envoy briefing the minister on Armenia’s and international community’s efforts in the peaceful resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
