Artsakh President holds working consultation

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 23 Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan held a working consultation on the process of establishing disability groups by the Center of medical and social expertise.

Heads of the concerned institutions delivered appropriate reports.

In his speech President Sahakyan hailed the measures taken since 2008 to eliminate the violations registered in the sphere of establishing and specifying disability groups. Bako Sahakyan said the requirements towards this process had remained clear-cut and required maximum objectivity and transparency, respectful attitude towards the disabled, adding that each application requests to review the degree of disability should be thoroughly considered and a comprehensive answer should be given to the applicant.

President Sahakyan stressed the necessary of involving the non-governmental sector in this process, in particular the “The Union of Artsakh Freedom Fighters” and “Vita” NGO that provides support to wounded soldiers of the Artsakh National Liberation War.

National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan, prime-minister Ara Harutyunyan and other officials partook in the consultation, reported theCentral Information Department at the Artsakh President's Office.
