Ramil Safarov is accused of resisting jailers and can be sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment.

19 June 2004 asked R. Safarov to present his telephone card. Safarov did not know Hungarian and «did not understand» what they wanted, which poured into an incident. As a result «8 policemen bent him and ties his hands, thus applying force against him.» After that, in spite of Safarov's lawyers' appealing to judicial institutions, the court referred to absence of proof and closed the case. Following that the opposing party filed a suit on the officer resisting to authority representatives, reported APA Azeri agency.

As earlier reported by IA Regnum, Armenian MOD representative on the case of Margaryan's murder Hayk Demoyan stated, «This is what Safarov himself said during the third forensic and medical trial, which the defense liked so much, but which was recognized void, «That day my lawyer called me up and I got to know bad news from him and then started kicking the door. When the guard opened the door I poured water on him.» I think you will agree that Hungarian guards could not act in other way in this situation, but apply force against the storming prisoner. As a result based on the prison guards complaint a second criminal case is brought against Safarov.»
