30000 people emigrate from Armenia annually – expert

PanARMENIAN.Net - An average of 30 000 people annually emigrate from Armenia, the figure totaling 10% of the country’s population, a demographer Ruben Yeghanyan said citing a sampling study.

However, the expert noted, the results of more current study involving 8000 households will provide a clearer picture.

A theologist Vardan Khachatryan, in turn, stressed that Armenia continues losing its reproductive basis, with the people tired of the lack of justice and polarization of the incomes.
