Armenia and Netherlands to Develop Cooperation between Parliaments

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian Speaker Artur Baghdassaryan met with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands to Armenia Onno Elderenbofch, reported the Press Service of the NA of RA. During the meeting the parties discussed Armenian-Dutch relations. It was specifically noted that friendly ties were established between the two parliaments and a wide cooperation field is outlined to exchange legislative experience, cooperate in international organizations. Mr. Baghdassaryan informed the diplomat on the process of adjustment of the legal framework to the constitutional reforms. The importance of passing laws meeting European standards was mentioned. In his turn Onno Elderenbofch remarked that in spite his residence is in Tbilisi, he intends to actively work in Armenia. Highlighting cooperation between parliaments in inter-state relations, he expressed readiness to promote strengthening of the ties, implementation of programs as far as possible.
