Bulgarian Parliament Speaker to Arrive in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Bulgarian Parliament Speaker Georgi Pirinski will arrive in Yerevan next week, RA NA Chairman Artur Baghdassaryan stated during today's press conference. In his words, the Speakers of the Russian, Greek, Slovakian and Kuwaiti parliaments will visit Armenia during the current year. To note, Artur Baghdassaryan intends to visit Spain, Russia, China, the U.S. and Canada in 2006.



When touching upon the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, the Armenian Speaker anchored hope with the year of 2006 and noted that official Yerevan should closely watch the talks and try not to damage the settlement process. "There will be no elections in Azerbaijan this year and this gives a chance to come to an agreement within the framework of bilateral compromise," he resumed.
