During a news conference on June 18, council member Levon Ghazaryan said that Armavia possesses the essential infrastructure to restart activity under the guidance of a skillful manager after a procedure of rehabilitation. “It’s a pity that instead of operating flights, airplanes with Armenian flags stand idle under the sun,” he said. Nevertheless, Ghazaryan noted, the court proceedings Armavia is facing will be very complicated, as the company has over 20 representative offices in different countries and over 33 thousand agreements. “To make things clear, mutual settlement of accounts is necessary,” he said.
