Ukrainian General Staff Chief to Pay Formal Call to Armenia in March

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Secretary of the Security Council at the RA President, Minister of Defense Serge Sargsyan met with Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia Olexanrd Bozhko, RA MOD Spokesman, Col. Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net During the meeting the Ukrainian diplomat briefed on the reforms carried out in the Ukrainian armed forces, summed up the outcomes of the Armenian-Ukrainian military cooperation in 2005 and presented plans for the current year. When touching upon the upcoming visit of the Chief of the Ukrainian General Staff to Armenia in mid March the Ambassador noted the importance of activating mutual visits. Upon completion of the meeting Serge Sargsyan stressed that the Armenian party is ready to discuss any proposal targeted at strengthening the Armenian-Ukrainian cooperation in the military field.
