Armenia posts 0,1% deflation rate in June

PanARMENIAN.Net - 2,7% inflation rate was recorded in Armenia's consumer market in June 2013 compared to the same period of 2012.

During the reported period, prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) increased by 3,2%, non-foods’ prices increased by 0,9%, with 2,7% growth in tariffs for services posted.

0,1% deflation rate was recorded in Armenia's consumer market in June 2013 as compared with May, 0,1% drop in prices for non-foods. 0.2%.growth was also observed in tariffs for services during the reporting period.

Consumer prices decreased by 0,3-0,1% in June compared to May in 6 Armenian cities under study, while the highest index was registered in Yeghegnadzor.

0,1% increase was recorded in consumer prices in Yerevan.
